Tired of Being the Nanny and Maid!!!!

Sometime I don't feel like a woman or spouse. I feel like I work for Molly Maid Service. I love my kids but I am up to my eye balls in laundry. Every Sunday I am cooking, cleaning, washing and drying clothes and chasing our two kids. My husband is usually out with his friends. He claims that is outlet. SO tell me when in hell do I get any outlet. I am just fed up. This life is boring and I want out. I need something different, a change, something exciting.

How old are your kids? Why not ask them to help out? Folding and putting stuff away. My nieces are 6 and 9 years old, both help putting laundry away and also being part of the routine of doing the laundry.

OK, well I say get a cleaning lady to come once every two weeks. This is 60 bucks or so well worth it and will take a load off from you so you don't have to do major cleaning, only tiding up and the up keep in the house.

Pick a day to cook 3 or 4 meals and freeze them, this way when Sunday night rolls around you aren't stuck cooking. Or, order in.

As for your husband, how often does he go out on his own? You need to have time too, so get him to stay with the kids, so you can have time for you. Also, get a sitter or ask a family member to babysit so you and your husband can have some alone time as husband and wife.

My kids are 5 and 6 1/2 months. Thanks for your suggestions. I usually cook about 2 to 3 meals on Sunday and about twice during the week. My husband goes out on his own almost everyday. If it is only for 30 minutes. We have family members watch our kids but it is still hard

Hey, stock the freezer up with SmartOnes and hire a housekeeper and go out and get a pedicure. He'll get the message

Then when he gets home, let him know you're going for a walk or go visit a neighbour or a friend. He has his time, so should you..

Does he help with the outside yard work? Take out the trash, cut the lawn etc? Or do you do that too?
