I could be in 'hot water'

Last week.. I had accepted a new 'job' at work.. with a new team.. then yesterday, I had an argument with my soon-to-be boss. I finally went to his boss and told her to shove their new job up their azz.. (in a polite way).. she was 'steaming'.. but didn't say much..

I can't wait last week.. what is going to happen .. I have my current MM on my side, and another manager.. but I am not sure how they can really help me..

We'll see..

Lizzie...are you sure you want to work for a supervisor like this? Sounds like you got along well with your previous MM and co-workers. Is it possible to back out of accepting the new position and remain where you were?

That's exactly what I did.. I backed out.. but starting next week.. there will be lots of 'changes' among the organization.. I was one of those 'changes' but now that I refused it.. I know this big cow will make me pay somehow..

I got to 'brace' myself.. I know a lot of people are 'behind' me.. but I don't know how much they can actually 'help' me concretely.. We'll see..

She (this bi*ch) always hated me.. for some reasons.. we just don't like each other's face..

Well, you KNOW I can relate to that whole "don't like each others face" thing...unfortunately.

It makes the atmosphere at work less than pleasant when you've got a target on you back. I swear, some people were born to make the life of other's hell! It's as though they allow their hatred/bitterness/prejudices propel their behavior/mindset. And when such people hold a position of power, it places everybody at their mercy...and they know. Oh boy - do they KNOW it!

I tell ya, sometimes work can be like a mine field...you've got to watch your step.

I'm crossing my fingers that things go well for you, Lizzie.

Chin up, girl!
