All considerations for the well-being of lawyers aside, I did some mega sleuthing and found this in the community guidelines:

Thread Titles:
It is important that threads are easily identifiable and as such we expect that posters will use descriptive thread titles which refrain from making general comments requesting assistance. We assume that all threads posted on the forum are seeking assistance and consider any requests for assistance within the thread title to be redundant.
Just an observation, not a dispute but that's like saying that if you post something in the off-topic forum, it must be off-topic. We daren't even do that because we get infracted for going off-topic in the off-topic forum.
I think they have a point. We do posts because we want help, advice and opinions. But then I'm a nerd and have a tendency to conform fairly easily to institutionnal pov.
I think they do that so every single post doesn't look the same.
It forces people to use unique titles.
All the posts would just say " Help me " or " I need advice "
Yeah, I don't know if the guideline is fairly new... I seem to remember a time where a lot of thread titles went something like:
"Advice needed"
"Help!"
"Your opinions please".
would the word opinions be in violation of community guidelines? I tried to use it in the title of a thread and got a notice it was in violaiton.
What am I missing here?
I have never given an infraction for use of the word "opinions." The subject of this thread is very vague and lacks details and examples. Exactly what were the circumstances in which you received such a notice. Please have the details forthcoming so we can properly respond to the matter. Thanks!

OP, try starting a thread here with the suspect language in the title and, if/when you get a violation notice, take a screen shot of that and send it to Tony.
