Our gift to you: Premium Subscriptions extended one month

As a token of our appreciation for your support while we work on ironing out the technological issues that have plagued the site recently, we have extended the Premium Subscriptions for all members by one month. Thank you so much! I actually whined a little about that because my subscription expired recently and I couldn't get on many times during the last week or two of my subscription.
Anyway, my profile shows that I was given another month but I don't see that I was. My PM box holds only 70 and not 250 messages and I don't have the option of changing my member status under my screen name. Also, I don't see the option to start a journal.
Am I doing something wrong?

You're most welcome and kind thanks for the warm regards. It appears that while the subscriptions were extended, the forum did not process those extensions. We've corrected the issue and you should have full access now.
I'm not kidding, but you do guys take cashiers cheques?
At this time, we're only able to accept subscriptions through PayPal. PayPal will allow you to make purchases using major credit cards, debit/ATM cards, and personal check.
Is one of the 'technological issues' the one that has accepted my payment through paypal but hasn't updated me as a subscribed member yet ??
Go to My Profile/CP. Look to the left-hand nav bar for an option called "Group Memberships". Click on it and you will see the ability to change your user title to Supporting Member via radio button.
Also, did you confirm your email address, when you first joined?
Don't seem to have that option available, and yes I'm pretty sure I confirmed my email addy when I first joined - it took a while for the paypal payment to show up (about a week) and I have been waiting patiently until it did in case I'd made an oopsie - but it's there now and yet I am still not getting 'credit' for it on the site - sigh

As others have pointed out in this thread, you must have a confirmed e-mail address before access will be granted. If your e-mail address it not yet confirmed, you will see a notice displayed at the top of the forum pages with instructions on how to complete that process.
Payments made by credit card are processed instantly and access to premium subscription features are available immediately after the payment is processed. The only time there may be a delay in processing is if a "check" is used for payment (entering your routing number and account information in lieu of a credit/debit card). In those instances, our payments processor will not complete processing of the transaction until the check has cleared your bank. This generally takes 3-4 business days, however may take longer depending on your financial institution.
Once payments have cleared the bank, subscriptions are immediately and automatically activated.
If you paid via another method or have any further questions as to the specifics of your transaction, contact us privately and we'll investigate further.
