What would you think about a daughter who has made no
effort since June 06 to see you or call? No birthday call, no Xmas Call,
no nothing and then you get this letter:

Hi Dad
Just thot I'd let you know ****** asked me to marry him and I said yes.
I will let you know more in the future.

****

Thats it!! No 'i love you", no 'i miss it".

Just venting it out. I appreciate any comments, but it wont sway
my opinion. I wouldnt be able to look at myself in the mirror
if I didnt ignore it. Lord knows I dont want to, but I cant continue
to be a floor mat.

What I think is you should stop letting what your ex-wife and your daughter do or don't do dictate how crappy you feel. You have obviously left the door open for them and there is no way to force them to act the way you think they should act. Live with honor, make new friends, and get some interesting hobbies. Life is too short to sit around being bitter over the inactions of other people. Because obviously, they're not sitting around giving you a second thought.

Wake up, digger. No one disagrees that what happened to you suck. Now it's time to TAKE ACTION. If you think about it, it's not what they're NOT doing that makes your life suck, it's YOU that's making your life suck. Sorry to be so honest.
