I resently got in touch with someone I care deeply for but haven't talked or seen her in many years. She and I have both admited the desire to presue a relationship, but she has expressed, a concern she has. A year and a half ago she got out of a very abusesive relationship. she is still recovering. she says that she would love to persue a relationship, but doesn't think she is ready at this time. we also live 500+ miles from one another. I would like nothing more in life than to persue this but how long should I wait? should I wait? and is there anything I can do to help her? or should I even be worryed about it at this point? She has agreed to let me come and see her for the weekend, and meet her kids. does anyone have any words of advise or have ever been in a similar situation?
