Well after telling my boyfriend my decision on Monday night I let him have his time to think and I caught a train home on Tuesday afternoon and went to see him. I spent the night at his and have returned to university today.

We didn't talk about it but we managed to clear some things up. We were also acting the same as we were before the whole situation happened. I think seeing each other helped loads.

So thank you for all your help and advice.

Glad to hear that things are going well!! See what afew days of him having some space to think can do? He does love you and now all you can do is just reaffirm how you feel about him, make him feel secure so if he does happen to have doubts/insecure thoughts, what you say and do in action can make him feel better.
