Hey. It sounds like Methemphetamines. With meth people stay up pretty late. If it was pot/weed then they would probably get tired. And when i was doing pot i was not cranky. I would only really get cranky when people got in my way of using it. Here are some other things to check for if someone is on meth: Dialated pupils. Eyes like very wide open. WIth me i was pretty serious most of the time. Would spend time cleaning things etc. One other thing is eating. I would eat a lot less. I would feel like throwing up when i eat or i would chew a lot.
Its more likely meth. Unless they walk around with a crack pipe taking hits every half hour they aren't going to stay up late, at least nothing like meth
