I am a dancer and to start off, I must say that I am a little offended when you said you picture strippers as girls who do coke and turn tricks. Yes, there are some that do that. Not the majority. Before I started dancing, I had that same perception of dancers. Total myth. I was surprised at how so untrue that is. I work in a very clean club. NOONE brings drugs to the club. NOONE turns tricks. In fact, most girls are married. Had to get that out.
Secondly, a lot of married and men with girlfriends, do try to pick up dancers. That's just the ugly truth. I'm not going to sugar coat anything here. They'll talk about their girlfriends or you see their wedding ring and then they'll say to you "so, how can I meet you outside of here?" It gets old.
But in your situation, it seems like your relationship is solid. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
