I'm a counselor and the social services doesn't pay jack. At least I'm getting unemployment right now since I'm not working. I live in Western Pennsylvania.
On most days.. Babysitter and I clean toilets on occasion.
I get paid enough to afford an internet connection and not enough to donate my paycheck to the homeless.
My pay has gone down in the last 12 months though..
Having an economy that is in the tank run by Obama seems to be keeping my paycheck a bit slimmer these days.
I'm a part-timer so far. Part-time charity volunteer, part-time youth worker, part-time retailer. Full time desperate job seeker still fighting for a living.
Unemployed college grad who gets whatever amount of money my parents decide to throw at me .Some might say im not trying hard enough but easy to say when you have a job already. Its rough out here when people with masters degrees cant get a job its bad.

It's not Obamas fault that our economy is that weak nowadays. As well as the Bush recession didn't happen overnight (it took him 8 years of purposeful actions), the recovery might need 8 years of careful actions too.
I am a senior research fellow working at the X university. Mainly in genetics area.
I also co-own small business with someone. I put a lot more hours in research than I do in said business, yet I am making about 10 times as much from the business.
SAHM in deep south, USA. Today I collected 2 erasers, a half pound of empty (thank God) candy wrappers, and what I think might have a few days ago been a Pokemon card, from the dryer which is my only venue for tips. Other than that its hugs, kisses and the occasional "Thanks Mom!"
I USED to work Neuro Intensive Care as an RN. Think that's paying about 60 in my area right now.
