Has arrived! And she is a whopper, I certainly overcooked her she is 10lbs!

She decided to tease me for days with false labour pains, turns out things must have been having a pretty good dress rehearsal, because when she decided to come, there was NO stopping her!

Born 22.10.09 after a short 4 hour active labour and only 20mins of pushing.
Completely au naturale- no time for any intervention or proper pain relief, so managed with gas and a birthing pool.

I CANNOT believe I birthed a 10lb baby with no drugs. I am not a big person. I did need a few stitches.

As for having a BABY-its so surreal. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on, took a while for me to get my head around it, I think I am still in shock. I could watch her all day.
