C. S. Lewis had a theory that would apply to this sort of thing. He basically thought that all men have two different “ideals” of women in their minds, he called it a terrestrial Venus and an infernal Venus. What he was trying to say is that there are two completely different paths a man can go down towards getting sexually interested in a woman, two paths that are not really inter-connected. One of them is what you could call the loving relationship way, where a man is interested in a woman as a whole person, wants to take care of her, is open to a relationship, marriage and family down the line. The other way is the prostitute/porn/slut way, where a man basically wants nothing but sex. The end result of these paths can look the same, in both cases the man wants sex, but his frame of mind is quite different between them and he doesn't easily switch from one to the other with a given woman.
It seems to me like when a man goes the second way, that's when the power, abuse, and control become a part of the picture. To a man in that frame of mind, it is sexy to be able to abuse a woman because it indicates to him that she will continue to have sex with him no matter what he does or doesn't do.
I use the 'other foot' test. If I was on the receiving end of a certain action, would I enjoy it? I certainly wouldn't enjoy gagging on a banana and then having someone squirt sticky cream on my face. Other's experience and preference might be different

Have you ever seen a movie like in a horror movie or something where a killer is drowning a person like holding their head under water? It kind of sounds like they are gurgling and/or gagging and gasping for air. Those are some of the things I saw in some of those videos and it reminded me of that sound.

Disturbing. BTW what I was describing I saw in some of those videos was NOT quality made. There are some quality made ones, yes, but those were not. To me any kind of abuse, such as some of the things I described isn't "quality."
