simple way to measure

I try not to overweight individual comments people make. Sometimes people simply say things because they are insecure - not immature.

A simple way to get a sense of how mature someone is, is to observe how they manage money. People who live in the moment, are leveraged and / or overextended are behaving in an immature fashion.

People who save and live within their means are being mature.

You can have plenty of fun either way. But if you live on the edge, the first hiccup and suddenly your problems become everyone elses problems.

I save and live within my means, but, I'd still say my maturity level is more like someone in their early 20's.
