Quick Question.

Question:
How do you forward a thread? What I mean is like, if you posted a thread and are getting a good response, how do you repost it so your thread is at the top of the list but it still has all of its replies? I hope this wasn't confusing. I can't think of any other way to ask it. I just see how other Threads are at the very top like they are brand new threads, but have 100+ replies...

Uh...every time there is a new post/response in a thread, the whole thing will get 'bumped' to the top -- it's not "brand new thread" but "brand new post" that does it. Total post count doesn't matter. (Did that make sense? )

Not that it's my business but I guess I'm somewhat confused as to why you might want your old/inactive thread(s) to stay at the top of the list?
If it's just for your own reference, an alternative would be to bookmark the specific url. But if you want more/new perspectives, just post an update in your (old) thread and it'll appear at the top again.

A post will normally go to the top if someone replies. If it's been inactive for a few days and then someone responds, it will go back to the top again. It is against guidelines for you to do anything to a thread to make it go to the top. Please let the forum operate naturally, as it will. Thanks!
