Hey, I'm not going to rub your nose in it or anything, or joke or kid you about it, or even be dismissive if you are young (which would in some ways be the greatest insult.) But I need some context - my suggestions would be different if you are a relatively fully-developed adult (20 years or older) than it would if you are younger, and then if you are younger, it would very much depend on what developmental stage you are at.

So you certainly aren't required to reveal it ( I can't imagine why you wouldn't unless you have some sensitivity about it ) but for me, without that context, I can't really give much help. I would give different discussion about an adult situation than I would with a younger person.

But if you don't provide that information, it may very much limit the usefulness of the discussion from which you are trying to benefit.
