I think we need to re-enable some of the common search terms. I've run probably 10 - 15 searches over the last few days and about half of them won't run properly (or at all) because at least 1 or 2 of the key words for my search weren't included.
Doesn't this increase the number of duplicate posts on the forum?
Over at Honda-Tech, I can answer most questions without even posting. It's a great resource for information! LS is already a great resource but could be even better if we sharpened some of our tools a bit. (minds out of the gutter, people!

)
I like being able to see what others' experiences have been without putting all of my own baggage out into the open. Sometimes all I need is perspective on something that's obviously a common occurrence, and it's frustrating when 5 searches in a row turn up nothing because most of the search function has been disabled.
I can understand the reason for limiting vague or overly common thread titles, but
why limit the search feature? What does that accomplish?
Some forums have a little checkbox that asks people to think twice before they post in a thread that's more than x number of days old. That would prevent unnecessary exhumation of dead threads.
What do the rest of you think?
