Rather than try and figure out whether you'd be happier with a man or a woman, why not just try and find a person you're head over heels for, who loves you the same way back.
Who cares what gender they are?
And yes, I agree, there has been a lot of talk about sexual fluidity or a sexual spectrum and that few people are 100% either way (although they certainly exist, along with asexual people), but the majority of people are somewhere along the spectrum.
I am attracted to women and men, but was not fortunate enough to meet a woman I wanted to have a relationship with - all my relationships have been with men. But yes, as someone else said, gay or straight, they have just as many relationship issues... seeing it with my gay friends right now, very tough stuff.
