archofanaffair Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 I joined yesterday and have quickly discovered that my affair is not unique and NC seems to be the first step in finding myself again. Thanks to all of you for your support and hard comments, they have been helpful. I am MM and work with MW. We talk frequently by phone and have lunch together each day. I have been separated for almost 4 months, and it's becomming clear to me that she isn't gonna follow through. As one LS person put it, I am #2 and I have put my wife as #2. I get it and it sucks but now I want to start the journeyt of healing. What is the best way to cut through the "I love you so much BS...meeting with my lawyer today..etc" to move to NC with her? I do love her very much but no longer want this toxic pain. No need to remind me that I have deeply hurt my wife and my MW's family in the process...I am acutely aware of that.
