d0nnivain Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 It's a relationship if you have never met. It's a fantasy I could not do this at all. It has always seemed ridiculous to me. That said, I was dating a guy locally when he moved from the NY metro area to California. We maintained an LDR for 2.5 years. We did this before cell phones, the internet & social media. We survived on 3-4 visits per year; snail mail letters & a 1 hour phone call once per week after the rates went down. The distance is not what broke us apart. Link to post Share on other sites
