DeluxeYou Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 My dad killed himself when I was a baby. 30 years down the road, still no one knows what prompted him. I have taken this to mean that he rejected or abandoned me. They call it "abandonment issue". I want to know how it manifest itself in the life of others. For me, people systematically reject me. People I like, friends, family, teachers, doctors... I have the impression that it was written on my forehead: "She's so worthless that her dad killed himself when she was a baby. Do you like her?"
