Yes, I know it's a stupid question because almost all of you "don't give a rat's ass about any of this stuff" (I'm quoting a guy who responded to an earlier thread of mine, lol). Irregardless, all other things being equal, which fingernail length is preferable on a woman? Feel free to elaborate, and please be kind enough to state your age.

http://i36.tinypic.com/2qnyzup.jpg - long

please ignore the quality/size of the pics, and the paint job differences. This is not a controlled scientific study.

If you prefer somewhere in between two lengths, please indicate this.

If this thread passes more than twenty replies, every participant shall receive a 2010 Jaguar XKR convertible.

Medium. Maybe slightly less, but not much.

TBH, I actually happen to dislike long nails on a woman. I don't know how long a nail can grow before it starts curling in weird ways, but some women wear ridiculously long nails so long that if they were real they would have started to warp like a month ago.

I will say that I prefer short nails, very short nails are unhealthy to me. I've cut my own nails too short before and it is rather uncomfortable.

Long fake nails = ick.

P.S.
Don't put glitter on your face either.

You do realise that you have entered into a contract here, don't you?

And in the original contract, which is what your first post basically is, you have not made any specifications as to post content, or how many posts may be submitted per poster.
So your first contact is the one taken as read and accepted.
I accept the terms of your contract as outlined in the first post of this thread.....

BTW: for the guys who think they don't like girls who get their nails done.... I get acrylic overlays -- not a fake nail, just a layer of acrylic on top of it. The men I've been with have thanked me, mainly because without the overlay my nails are sharp as hell. It's almost like the "Soft Paws" for cats in the way it works for me.... heh.

(They're somewhere between short and medium in that picture list, btw....)

These are quite elegant, and very pretty, and again, would probably suit somebody working in the health profession, or catering. They seem an ideal length for a physical therapist (massage, physio...)

Those do look a bit short to me.

Personally my nails are always between very short and short. They just don't grow right like other women's. And I wouldnt get fake nails. I hope this isnt a turnoff to guys.

These are not medium, I would say they are bordering on the Long, and already, too long for my tastes.

I also detest square-cut nails. i think they look aggressive, and frankly, common. These french manicures (whitened tips) always look quite elegant the first day, but after that, look cheap and nasty.

These frankly, are bordering on the ridiculous. How can anybody with nails like this, function normally? Housework, washing up, typing, anything... It just looks impossible to be able to do anything dexterously....

Also, if I was a guy, I would find it scary to have sex with a woman who had nails like this....
keep them away from my John Thomas, dearie!

And that's just gross.
The wearer looks a little older, and frankly, I would say she would be a tarot card reader, or working in a new-age shop, with a long blonde Dolly Parton wig and slow Texas drawl.... Boy what a picture I'm building up!

I'm sorry, no. Just a total turn off and completely unacceptable...

I think a guy would soon start caring if he had a handful of the very long nails trying to scratch his back!
