Are there any good books that i can get that would help me understand how to start a conversation with a girl and ask her out on a date? Would going to a relationship coach help? D-Jam Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 Pick Up Artist (PUA) books are helpful, but I'd also take a look at a few self-help books and even some light sociological reading on dating in general. I talk to death about Unhooked Generation by Jillian Strauss, only because rather than just teach men how to talk to a girl at a bar or show women how to attract men...it more shows a sociological viewpoint of American dating in general. Gives readers a lot of insight on the thinking and logic of many in their dating, and why they seem to be chronically single with little or no success. Link to post Share on other sites
