Friends? or more than friends?

I don't know how to handle or respond to this guy anymore. I've only met him once, and he was drinking then. He was flirting with me and being really touchy, and at the same time he also asked me for a kiss. I turned him down. He's been texting me, and also called me late at night to ask to hang out with him and his friends. And he says I'm attractive and there's some connection or something. So I told him I wasn't interested and asked him if he knew that why he keeps on being persistent. Now he said he wasn't interested in dating me but just for a friendship.... See now I'm kind of at a loss. How should I respond? Should I really try to be friends with this guy? From whatever angle I could see it, it seemed like he was definitely coming on to me, maybe just for sex or something. But he's kind of creeping me out since I only met him once.

What you friend is doing is already beyond the limit of your friendship. Maybe he does feel more than into it.
