Hi

Networking petrifies me, and since I've started working around 5 years ago, I've managed to avoid it without much detroment. I've started in a new field where networking would be really helpful, but I don't know how to start getting used to it. There is so much advice online I'm not sure how to begin! My main problem is that I think I have nothing to offer and that people I want to talk to are much more impressive than me. I'm worried I'll give a bad impression and that I would be worse off than if I had not spoken to them!

Any advice or recommendations of resources that have helped you?

Thanks!

Start keeping a journal and write about

Your thoughts

Your feelings

Your growth

Your healing

Your journey through life

Your hopes

Your fears

Your dreams

Your learning

Your realisations

Your intuition, how it speaks to you, and what it says

Your understanding of yourself

Your achievements

Highly recommended.

Journaling helps people to connect with themselves in a deeper and more meaningful way.

Take care.

Preferably a diary on paper rather than on the Internet, Satu. And well hidden in your place. ;)

Definitely - nice paper and good pens :)

And as you say, a good place to keep it.
