This past Weds I got an email from the hiring manager that she would like to move forward with extending me an offer and that the lady from HR will be calling me. I didn't receive a call yet (I know it's only been 2 days). My question is how much time should I give it before calling to follow up? Link to post Share on other sites
Tayla Posted February 28, 2015 Share Posted February 28, 2015 Call the person who emailed you to advise them that you are awaiting a phone call from HR. Maybe the memo hasn't hit the HR desk? Sometimes a gentle reminder is all it takes. I would refrain from calling HR since its not known what stage the communication is in on their end. pink_sugar Posted February 28, 2015 Share Posted February 28, 2015 I would kindly reply to the email and ask when you should be expecting the call. I don't think that's unreasonable. It will also show your commitment to the job by knowing to stick by your phone so you don't miss the call for any reason. Link to post Share on other sites
