I have a working interview tomorrow for a technician position at a veterinary clinic. Does anyone have any advice/knowledge of what I should expect from this? I have never had one of these before so I am not sure what to expect.

I know it is basically as if I am "working" at the clinic, but I also know there are probably some things they can't let me do since I won't actually be employed there.

If they haven't told you much then what does your gut instinct say?

'do what is asked'

'listen hard'

'ask questions'

'act upon listening'

'use a bit of initiative but check with those you are working with if what you think is right actually is'

'use some common sense'

These are what I would expect and do myself.

Also. be 'an active listener' if you can do no hands on..ask questions or..notice each step they take and say I noticed you did 'xyz' just then...if you are unsure why then ask. If you know why then say so.

Clear your mind and keep your eyes as open as possible.
