Tressugar Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Would it be unwise of me to apply for another position (internally)? I just started my new job last week. I work in an environment that heavily encourages job upward mobility. This position would be a huge step up for me. Plus I have years of experience in what this unit is looking for. It seems to be a good fit. Should I take the risk in applying? It is another state job, so if/when I get called to interview for the position it would be at least three months down the line.
