I was recently put on a second performance plan for things that my reporting staff has done and something that didnt happen that I had no knowledge or control over. The last time this happened was last year.

I know for a fact that the plan was put into place this year against my boss's wishes and was done at the direct order of the CFO who was angry that day. The form itself had many items that were very recent and some that happened while I was away.

Telling HR that my boss was forced would be heresay but how should I handle this situation where my boss has no balls to stand up in what he thinks is right and does not support me. I am not speaking to him about anything only work.

I have not given him a reaction as I have done in the past. Do you think this will hurt me more?

I am not happy right now and can't afford to quit. I have 8 weeks to improve according to them. How do I improve those things that I did not do?

I am very frustrated right now....
