My Job is Becoming Stale

I would say within the last year, I've been dissatisfied with my job. There are several reason:

 

1. My boss has no backbone. He does not back up his employees and tends to single us out in front of others.

 

2. My co-worker calls in sick at least once a week and is already on modified hours. My boss hasn't hired anyone else so I'm stuck picking up the slack.

 

3. Our workload is so high and we have such a lack of staff, I'm always rushing to do jobs and I overlook things. However, I started doing things slower to make sure they're done right but my boss is now breathing down my neck because I'm not producing quickly enough.

 

4. There is no room for advancement.

 

5. The pay sucks.

 

6. I have a lot of responsibility but little guidance.

 

Anyhow, I'm thinking of taking part-time classes and changing industries completely.

 

Just needed to vent.
