squeak
Does anyone have any idea why or what it means when you receive an e-mail with a spam address but it is blank message ? And no attachments? So, I get one of those, I click on it-then delete it. I see my drafts folder now 1 item in it-I'm thinking-WTF? I go to my drafts folder-and it is a draft of an email from me to the spam address I just deleted, that I mentioned above. Any ideas? This happens quite frequently, and I just want to know : Is this e-mail inflitration at it's finest? Anyone have any ideas what this is?
Trialbyfire
squeak, please don't open spam emails. Many contain bugs of different kinds and not always in attachments. I'm surprised that your ISP doesn't provide a better filter, where most of this stuff gets automatically routed to your trash or junk mail folder.
Author squeak
It's awful! I open them because I am worried about deleting an important email, sometimes the "from" address actually sounds legit! Hmm, I should look into a better filtering account then.
Trialbyfire
The filter on gmail is pretty good. One or two get by, once every few months.
