Spirits may be trying to contact me from the other side

Recommended Posts

I was thinking that the kingdom of heaven probably exists all around us in another dimension that our physical senses can't perceive. If that be the case that may explain the existence of "ghosts" or paranormal activity where heavenly spirits can interact with the physical enviornment.

In the last 2 years I've had subtle paranormal happenings and recently it has gotten stronger. Most of the activity has been objects that disappear and reappear in other locations for some mysterious reason. This happens when I am not around. I live by myself and I always lock my doors so there's no way nobody could have broke in and took anything especially when what was taken was of no value to them.

I will give an example. I developed a vitamin D deficiency 2 years ago and doctors prescribed some pills. Well a few days later the pills disappear but there's one pill remaining in the bottle when there should have been 6 left. So I thought that was very odd. What is this unseen force trying to tell me? That I should go against what my doctor recommended? That's a rhetorical question.

So I had to go get a refill and explain that I lost the pills. What was I going to tell the pharmacist? That I really believe that a spirit took them away? They would probably tell my doctor what I said and refer me to a psychiatrist.

Well just a month ago I am sitting in my bedroom on my bed and I am on the Internet reading loveshack threads and then I hear my door open a crack all by itself. That was the first time that happened. There's nothing defectively wrong with the door that would cause it to crack open. No loose screws or bolts. I have tested it out and even put a fan pointing towards it to rule out pressure wave issues. Yes all my windows were closed when this experience happened.

This is a relatively new house too by the way. It was built in 2006. I moved into it in 2007.

I know it isn't the house itself that is haunted because whoever this unseen force is has followed me in the car and even at work. Although it is harder to prove paranormal activity at work with objects appearing and disappearing but it seems to follow a similar pattern as it does at home.

Now I have a brother who died by suicide in 1997. I also had a grandmother pass away in 2003. Another thing that happens in the past year is I hear my name being called in a faint voice from afar off. Sometimes it happens when I sleep and it wakes me up in the middle of the night. Other times it is during the day. It is so faint that it is just enough to make me wonder if I really heard my name being called.

I have googled stuff on the Internet about these things. Some have said it is a sign of an imminent death and that the spirits on the other side get a better idea if you are going to die soon and they get prepared and send out signals that they and the angels are coming to pick you up and escort you to heaven.

Maybe it is or it isn't. It is certainly possible due to the timing of when all this strange stuff started which was 2 years ago about a couple of months before my cancer diagnosis and then it would continue during and after treatments. I would say subtle things happen every 3-4 months and recently it got stronger.

Has anyone out there experienced anything they believe is paranormal?

Darren2013,

I am am sorry that you have had a diagnosis of cancer and I hope your treatment is progressing well.

Before you start to look for evidence of paranormal activity I would rule out any physical causes.

You have said that these instances of auditory hallucinations started around the time you received your cancer diagnosis, so it is possible the two are linked. I would discuss this with your oncologist next time you see him/here, so you can investigate a medical cause.

Objects going missing could just be forgetfulness due side effects of the cancer therapy you have been having. Please discuss this with your oncologist as well.

This is total nonsense. Don't you think that angels have enough to do with all the souls in Heaven without interfering with the living?

Please speak to your medical practitioner about this.

Good luck.

The souls in heaven are safe and doing well. It is the living on earth that need help. Angels have some kind of assignments on the earth I believe.

Darren,

It's not so uncommon; it just doesn't happen as portrayed in the movies.

You might want to consider making sure that they ARE from heavenly/angelic realms, or Octaves of Light, or whatever you want to call it; and NOT from astral or psychic planes...and just posing as benevolent beings.

If you're interested enough to want to look into it further, you could Google 'liberation from psychic domination', 'discarnate entity decree' and 'prayer for the obsessed'. Also, 'the false hierarchy'. Some interesting reads EVEN IF we don't find it plausible or possible.

Has anyone out there experienced anything they believe is paranormal?

I have, yes, but I didn't and don't take it as a sign of imminent death. I ended up just making sure that I'm doing a better job of calling on my Higher Powers to properly protect me from all the non-visible -- and observable -- negative influences and garbage (energies and entities) of this world.

Praying you complete recovery, and forever good health.

When my one sister died my other sister brought in a medium so that she could communicate with my deceased sister.

They had an hour long session or longer and yes that woman was communicating with my sister. My deceased sister admitted that she hides my other sister's husband's keys. A lot. Because she always liked him and he is fun to mess with. She also admitted to freaking out my other sister's cat.

My sister got treated at U of Penn which is attached to Children's hospital of Philadelphia. Sometimes my sister would get on a pity party but it was always the thought of children suffering that humbled her. She always had a soft spot for children and their innocence.

The medium reported that my deceased sister had a job in Heaven. Her job was to gather deceased loved ones of children so that when a child passed they'd be welcomed by those they knew as they crossed over.

The medium did not know this but my sister was a field agent with the FBI. One of her biggest disappointments was not solving a case of a nine year old boy who went missing. She worked diligently on that case and had suspicion on who took him and that his body ended up in a drum filled with acid. No proof though.

That young boy's mother, Maureen, was at my sister's funeral. She certainly humbled all of us in our sorrow.

Anyway, yes I believe that everything that you're experiencing sounds just about right. It's kind of cool, isn't it?

I'm ready to get on that plane to heaven. Whenever God opens the door and sends my transfer papers I'm ready to go home.

Not me. I aint ready yet. Besides I'm not sure where I would end up; considering my track record it might not be a good place. I feel I need vast improvement in my spiritual and contemplative life.

Hey SDA, thinking you've probably heard this before, although if you believe that Jesus Christ is God and have accepted His free gift of forgiveness and have asked Him to be your Lord and Savior then we will see each other in heaven.

Accepting Jesus into your heart is the only mandate, the rest is the manifestation of allowing Him to work in our lives- there are people like me who are stubborn, self-willed, arrogant, etc. that think we are in control, yet still saved. I sin all of the time and fall SOOOO short, but have a 'lawyer' (Jesus) intervening for me because I'm too stupid to what's right.

This is very poorly communicated, as there is a lot on my plate right now, but want to say I'm not saying I can just sin all over the place and due to being saved ...by no means, I just can't seem to get it right for some reason. Thank God, He knows my heart (which can be scary) and knows why I do what I do.

Based on what I've seen you say over the years, you are saved. You believe Jesus is God, the Trinity, personal relationship w/Jesus etc.

I bet M30 could have said all of this one or two sentences with clear wording lol.

Bolded, I totally relate to this. Could it be that we know our job is not done yet?

Why do you say that? First hand knowledge or what other people have told you?

Anyway I wasn't the one who sought out or spoke to a medium...my sister did.

I didn't need a medium...I've always been in tune with the presence of the deceased. My brother died when I was three but he became my imaginary playmate. Some believe that imaginary playmates are merely angles. Did you know that? I never did until one of my new neighbors told me that and the neighbor didn't even know I had an imaginary playmate. He just said it.

The neighbor died that year.

I have experienced a lot of 'activity' spiritually. I do believe we have angels and demons that we cannot see in operation. I'd love to go in-depth with this, but want to keep it short.

First it's important to discern the spirits, meaning which realm is in operation. I would suggest anointing your doors and windows while reading Psalms 91 and 92 w/ 2nd Chronicles 20.

Having experienced much in this area...both angels and demons I usually can tell which one it is. One experience that pops out: I was laying on my bed (on my stomach), it was a fall afternoon. I was praying, and was so stressed out (I was being hit hard by the enemy), just about to drift off to sleep my bedroom door slammed shut. I woke up to close the window and noticed it was still as still could be...not even a hint of a breeze. I was tripping asking the Lord what that was...He said it was my wind of change (it could have been a ministering angel) and then began minister a national and personal prophetic message. It was cool.

I would say SDA said this due to what the Bible has to say concerning divination. Are you into Tarot cards and that type of stuff?

Your imaginary playmates could have been angels, although they could have been demons- only you can use your discernment and ask the Lord what the really was.

Be careful gf, this stuff is no game...

held a seance on a school camp....one and only.....wasnt terribly good..no one slept after, girl in a white nightie showed up

i do believe in psychic phenomena.....i think you have to be careful messing around with the paranormal.....i don't really know about telekinesis and spirits.....i do believe in, esp, telepathy and channeling though for sure through a mind at rest..thats why ill never visit a hypnotist..

i think if you handle any sort of spiritism..again.......theres a reason for contact or the invocation of certain thoughts or feelings.....i have to believe that any thing that happened would be given and used for a good purpose.... and god knows why not me..pray often...the more things happen pray more....ask god for guidance........deb

There's no spiritual harm that can come from using tarrot cards or oujia boards. Personally if there's a spirit that needs help I would be glad to help out. I have never used those things because I never had a reason to seek out anyone. I certainly have less reason now since it seems like spirits are seeking me out. I don't feel scared at all or creeped out.

Also what one perceives as a malicious spirit may very likely be a spirit that is misunderstood. I don't believe in spirits that have malicious intent.

If I ever walk into a location or building that is supposedly haunted I think the best thing to do is have a sense of humor and send out positive energy. I'll confidently introduce myself and say hi this is Darren good to meet you what's your name?

Looking back I also noticed that strange things happen with objects moved out of place whenever I go away on vacation. I come back home from vacation after a few days and I notice a bowl moved out of place to another odd location of the house. One time one of my coffee cans was found in the refrigerator.

I am a very meticulous person when it comes to where I put things. I don't forget where I put important things like books and plates and cups and objects in the pantry. I know when something is moved out of place because I like to be organized and know exactly where everything is.

Also in the last 2 months my parents tell me of stuff happening at their house with objects missing and showing up in other places. My Dad is a skeptic when it comes to the supernatural but I don't know if he is willing to talk about it now.

If I was a spirit and I knew I had skeptics in my family I know I would have to come up with some way to interact with the physical enviornment in a way that they would believe. They aren't going to believe it is coming from me with just subtle stuff. I would have to work harder.

Actually, there IS, Darren; a LOT of spiritual harm...if we are not careful.

Read some of Edgar Cayce's cases. Look-up 'disobsession' and 'impostors of the false hierarchy' (also with spelling, 'imposters'). Google a pamphlet put out by The Society of Clerks Secular of Saint Basil, The Orthodox Catholic Church of the Americas, titled 'Exorcism: Orthodox and Roman Rituals'. There are sources too numerous to mention.

All such material came about because of people's experience, and many, many, MANY faith traditions have published materials related to the same topic and how to treat people so assailed, if from different perspectives.

Jesus had his fight with the demon(s) in the desert. As did other Ascended Masters. EVEN IF you don't believe one source, there's another, speaking to the same thing. Or, you can discount them all.

Also what one perceives as a malicious spirit may very likely be a spirit that is misunderstood. I don't believe in spirits that have malicious intent.

Even so, it does not hurt to take precautions and ensure that you are properly, spiritually protected before engaging with them. That is, in any case, the first thing done by people who do feel compelled to help displaced, discarnate souls/entities go into the Light. Whether the entitities or unhappy, misunderstood or just lost and confused is beside the point.

I can't speak to whether the 'demons' that Jesus encountered were really benevolent or benign...but my interpretation of it is that he needed to struggle/fight against them; why so, if they were just harmless and not malicious/malevolent?

Conjecture and theory, faith and all that.

I am a man of God, but this is easily attacked.

Put a camera in your home, and be sure to record these events,

Next time you "find something missing", check and see what the video presents.
