bicyclejunk
I have Light allergies. They get worse around pets. but all in all only seem to bug me when I go running. My allergies aren't red eyes, Sneezing uncontrollably or anything, But more of a Post Nasal Drip, stuffed, Sneezing kinda thing. I always know when they are acting up, if I notice a dripping in the back of my throat and stuffiness, it sucks. Anyway, I tried to start running again yesterday after a 3 week break, just went for a light jog. I've been feeling fine, but now today, i woke up all stuffed and plugged and itching in the back of my throat and i've been sneezing all morning....Always happens to me. It seems to always happen, everytime I start running again. How can I exercise with allergies and am I at risk of making myself Sick? if I run with my nose all stuffy? How can I exercise if i have mild respiratory problems?
BrotherAaron
It's called "Excercise Induced Asthma." The rapid breathing you do during excercise increases the amount of allergens you inhale, triggering an allergic reaction. I had the same problem, so I got allergy shots. It worked wonders. If your curious, go get a referral to an allergy specialist from your physician.
