prettywoman Posted October 31, 2003 Share Posted October 31, 2003 it illegal right? i was sleeping over his house last night. he goes to work very early, after he left this morning i was doing what all us women do, clean, i was looking through his closet and i came across a lockbox. after getting into it i found some steroid pills along with needles and some bottles that says Depo-testosterone (US) 200 mg/ml. he does have a lot of muscles and is athletic, never agressive tho i cant tell if i trust a person that is foolish enough to kill themself to look better? what would you do? i think i should call police before confronting him. Secondly, okay he has big muscles and after finding what you did the natural conclusion to come to would be that he takes steroids for fitness and vanity reasons. But YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. I'm certainly no medical expert but maybe they are medically prescribed to him for health reasons. I don't know how long you have been seeing this guy but he deserves better than someone snooping in his private things and then thinking of calling the police before even asking him about it. If you confront him he will probably be angry that you snooped, if you call the police he will be even more annoyed. From your message it doesn't sound like you actually care about this man at all...you only seem to be worried about the indignity of having a boyfriend who possibly takes steroids. So why did you get with him in the first place? If I'm wrong, I'm sorry but your post is very short and without much detail. If he is taking steroids to improve his looks then yes he is dumb but you should find out for sure first, instead of jumping to conclusions. The use of steroids is not the big picture here. First you try to justify your brazen snooping under the guise of 'cleaning' then you admit to looking through his closet and "getting into" a lockbox. Then you are ready to call the police before you even talk to the guy. And to top it all off you have the audacity to question if you should trust this person! HE shouldn't trust YOU. Ryan Posted October 31, 2003 Share Posted October 31, 2003 First, there's no way this is prescription. 200mg is WAAAAAAAAAY above what would typically be used...and they don't send you out with a do-it-yourself kit. I do hear the point about this being an invasion of his privacy....and that is a bad sign. The relationship must not have been very solid to begin with. However, I think people are glossing over a major point here: steroid use is DRUG ABUSE. This is no different than if she found a bag full of cocaine and some powdery straws. Or perhaps people might be more up in arms if she found child porn. I wouldn't say a thing. I'd tell him you don't feel like this is working and you want it to end. prettywoman Posted October 31, 2003 Share Posted October 31, 2003 hi yes, sorry i have been all emotional about this situation from the beginning of my finding this stuff. we have been together for a year and 1 month. all this time he deny this from people when people ask him if he takes steroids. no i wasn't looking for such thiings. i was cleaning and doing his laundry for him, no the lock box wasn't locked. in the box is a bag i would guess to be maybe 100 pills and the label says Methandrostenolone and 6 bottles of the liquid stuff i think he must inject. we have one child together and is a new baby, we be tryen to get thi9ngs together, but now i think maybe no. i even ask him before what if any drugs he takes, i was talking about pot and things , he ssay no he defy my trust, not other way around yes what else is there...child porn, i hope not i cannot just walk away easy, cute baby girl Link to post Share on other sites

First off you should not have been snooping around his personal things...exspecially if the box was locked....You had no right. But now that you have , i would talk to him and sugest he talk to a physician. Kinda curious what his reaction is going to be when u tell him/if you do.......I wish you luck......but snooping is bad for a relationship, indicates you have no trust. This is just my opinion..... In fact, some are.... You don't turn in someone you love. C-O-M-M-U-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N. Everybody has a big secret somewhere. Talk about it, try to talk him out of it. If he cares about you he'll stop.
