Same here.

On my iPhone everything is fine though.

I got the warning from Google Chrome too and didn't access the site. It was a risk I wasn't prepared to take. I did wonder how I could alert the loveshack staff to what was happening. Maybe you need an extra, separate portal that loveshack users could use to report such things.

Glad it seems to have gone anyway.

Seriously, get Adblocker Plus and then block the infecting site. I had no infections and this is not only running an active scan during, an overnight deep heuristic scan including root kit scan but also, running multiple scans with other malware/trojan detectors.

Shutting off Java helped me. I just made the mistake of letting it run again - chrome told me that this site needed to run it, so I allowed it to run just this once, and I'm getting the warnings again.

*edit. Well, it *did* work, but it's still happening, even though I stopped it in the task manager. I guess I'll have to try restarting again. It's annoying: it even interrupted my editing here.

Use Adblock Plus for Chrome and block all the ads on LS:

Adblock Plus for Chrome — for annoyance-free web surfing

Also set your browser to not accept third-party cookies.

Thanks, january. I think I installed that one the other day - I've also had Ghostery on here for months, so I don't know why it isn't blocking the offending link. :/ Just blocked third-party cookies, too. And I'm running Malwarebytes, just in case.

Malware detected!

I'm getting this every couple of days, and it's really, really frustrating! Every time I try to open Loveshack, this happens:

Quote:
Warning: Something's Not Right Here!
LoveShack.org: Interpersonal Relationship Advice and Assistance Center - Love and dating advice, platonic relationships, and more. contains content from allplanforum.org, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found that malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed. Why not try again tomorrow or go somewhere else?
We have already notified allplanforum.org that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on allplanforum.org, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page.
Go back
If you understand that visiting this site may harm your computer, proceed anyway.
I'm on my stepson's computer and apparently he has so many anti-virus and firewall programs installed, it's ludicrous! He says they all have slightly different 'talents' and do different things - but he downloads so much stuff, that having updated his PC just three months ago - he thinks he already needs more storage space!! But paranoia doesn't cover it...

But anyway, I'm kinda hoping LS has its own anti-viral/firewall protection systems in place to prevent hacking and the suchlike....?

I did report this recently, but apparently Admin has not yet responded....

Good luck, Anela, hopefully, all that will clear it!

I got it again a few minutes ago to.

I use chrome and I noticed that it says.......waiting for youngerpornstarspromo.ad to download.

Earlier today, a java applet was trying to get permission to download, I kept clicking no. The same thing, I suppose. I suspect you are screwed if you allowed.

Apparently the ads are infected. I suspect my adblock is blocking that one.

My AVG Virus protection has been warning me of threats being blocked by it today.

Paranoia and ignorance.

More is not better when it comes to AV and anti-malware, it's far better to select a few (or one) solid product and run with it. Firewall, IPS, and AV are the three things that you can really use.
