Patty Posted October 9, 2003 Share Posted October 9, 2003 I just heard I lost one of my uncles.He died today after collasping,while having an aneurysm.We werent that close but I'm still a little shocked about his death. I used to see him at the family reunions.He was my second uncle.My great grandparents had 14 kids so on my fathers side I had 11 second uncles and 3 second aunts. I learned at the family reunion that I had 2 uncles,I never saw cause they passed away when they were little.When I went to the reunion,there was a picture of these little kids that I never saw and never knew they were even my uncles until I read about it. Baubles Posted October 9, 2003 Share Posted October 9, 2003 My thoughts go out to you Patty- I had a relative die a few years ago I didn't know very well either- it's a disconcerting feeling- as though you never knew much about them and never will, but it's still a loss.
