I always thought online relationships were bogus and pathetic but here I am today craving more and more of her. There's only so much time you can spend talking to someone strictly over the phone or through texts. Don't get me wrong, I love her personality and who she is... almost identical to me except warm and caring (that's a good thing).

I'm lost on how to approach her and tell her that I have to meet her. She stuck around so I suppose she wants to meet also, but there hasn't been any serious conversation of it!

Just barely a week ago, I would have been so happy to even hear that the bf would be even ABLE to come back, because he wouldn't be able to if he failed his finals. I was overjoyed when he told me he passed.. and then down the very next day when he told me the earliest ticket he could find was next Friday. :(

It's weird, and scary how this completely eclipsed the bigger happiness of having the certainty that he'd be able to come. In fact, I feel more down now than I had actually been before we had that certainty. Everytime I talk with him online now, I have this feeling of dissatisfaction in me, and I keep thinking how, if only just ONE seat on that damn plane were to open up, he would be here in the flesh with me RIGHT NOW. :(:(

So that set me wondering; for all of us who think that our problems would be over if only our SO could be here... is it really so? Won't we find other things to complain and fret about then - things that we would have considered trivial before? I had my hearing on Nov 5th for mine, still waiting on the papers to get here. Should be literally any day now. We both filed 18 months ago, so it's been a looooooong wait.

Even once they are both done we both need to get more financially settled before we'll be able to start the K-1 visa process, but this is a big step to that out of the way.
