If you think an adjustment should be made, talk to an attorney and see if it would be beneficial to do a Petition to Modify Child Support. You can also try to do this through child support services but it's more of a pain in the ass. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
Miss Peach Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 I've been divorced longer but have yet to do it. In most states it's a calculation. Most courts won't even hear it until it's a certain level of significance (such as 10% more income). In my case we both are making more so it wouldn't really change the end result enough to file for it. Link to post Share on other sites
