WillLoveAgain Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 It's been 2 months today since the BU and i still feel as confused, shocked and hurt. I have moments of clarity and there is no pain and hurt but it doesn't seem to last. I know that healing a broken heart is not easy and it will not happen overnight but sometimes i wish there was an EASY button...but i will probably miss the lesson I have to learn from this if there is a shortcut but sometimes i wish there was. It's staying busy, forcing yourself to get out of the house and go actively do things you enjoy with or without friends, pursue new interests, stay busy and stay social. The only way to crowd out old memories is replace them with new ones and it doesn't happen overnight, but things like having a really good time or going on a little trip can make your problems look smaller and the world look bigger by comparison.
